PROVO Chapter
After seeing the love given to our son from Kayabwe, Uganda, we knew we had to give back to his community
ABOUT the provo chapter
The Provo Chapter of Kirabo’s Well is a student-led group at BYU working to bring clean, sustainable water to communities in Uganda. Through fundraising and outreach, they raise awareness and inspire action—one well at a time.
How it all started
The Provo Chapter of Kirabo’s Well, Inc. was started by Chuck Nadauld in 2024 at the age of 22. Chuck was 10 when he was first in Uganda for several weeks as part of his brother’s adoption. During his time there, he developed a deep love for the country, culture, and people. He also witnessed first-hand the villages’ heart-breaking lack of basic needs we took for granted back home.
That experience instilled in him a desire to come back one day and do what he could to help. He went back with his family a few times as they launched their non-profit, embarking on their plan to raise funds and build wells in Uganda. Miraculously, at age 19, Chuck was assigned to Uganda for his two-year church mission where he served the people he loved, made lifelong friendships, and became more determined than ever to make bringing fresh water to all Ugandans a lifelong goal.
Upon returning home to Utah, he acted on that passion by launching a chapter of Kirabo’s Well, Inc. in his college town of Provo, Utah.
